USO Fort Riley No Dough Dinner
We wanted to take the time to thank all of those who were able join us at the Culinary Arts Building last Wednesday for the USO Fort Riley No Dough Dinner. This year, Briggs Supercenter served as the sponsor of the event, which is an annual dinner for U.S. service members and their families.
As you can probably guess from the name of the event, the dinner is always free. It’s just one way that USO Fort Riley and Briggs Supercenter were able to show service members in the Manhattan area that we appreciate all that they do for our country.
This year Chili was on the menu, and was served by volunteers from Team Red, White & Blue, a local organization that helps to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to people in their community through physical and social activity. In addition to all of you who joined us at the event, we also want to thank the members of Team Red, White & Blue who assisted in making the No Dough Dinner the success that it was.
If you scroll to the bottom of the post, you can check out a few of the pictures from the event. As you can see, it was a lot of fun, and we truly hope that we will be able to participate in next year’s No Dough Dinner.
